Job Title: Finance Transformation Manager

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Job Length: Permanent

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, poppi, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.

About the role:

As Finance Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in transforming how the On Trade Finance team operates. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will lead initiatives that improve brand & pack profitability reporting, forecasting, price increase management, and accrual management through simplification, standardisation and automation.

Working closely with Finance and Commercial teams, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance data quality & forecast accuracy, and unlock capacity, enabling the team to focus on higher-value business partnering and decision support.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and driving meaningful change in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the On Trade Finance team, and with the Commercial team.
  • Delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy and control.
  • Identify, prioritise and deliver automation that simplifies ways of working and reduce manual effort.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of new processes, systems and tools, ensuring sustainable change and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct process reviews to identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities to improve controls and performance.
  • Enhance forecasting processes and reporting solutions to improve forecast accuracy, insight and decision-making.
  • Strengthen governance across accrual management and price increase administration through robust, scalable processes and controls.
  • Improve data quality, reporting consistency and accessibility, creating trusted and efficient sources of financial information.
  • Develop scalable analytical and reporting tools that support better business decisions and reduce administrative workload.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience delivering transformation, process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience of process mapping, root cause analysis and redesigning end-to-end processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling and reporting automation.
  • Significant experience working in a highly data-driven finance or analytical role using AI.
  • Experience managing, transforming, and analysing large datasets from multiple sources
  • CIMA qualified with experience (other financial qualifications will also be considered)
