Location: Hemel Hempstead

The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and growing SCG's partner network through partner acquisition, account development, and revenue generation. The role will focus on recruiting new partners, expanding opportunities within existing partners, and driving growth across SCG's product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow revenue within an assigned partner base.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities across existing and prospective partners.
  • Recruit and onboard new partners aligned to SCG's growth strategy.
  • Lead strategic business discussions with owners, directors, and senior decision-makers.
  • Attend partner and end-customer meetings to uncover opportunities and progress sales.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and manage opportunities through the sales cycle. Ensure all customer, partner, and opportunity information is updated within Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Utilise internal resources and subject matter experts to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Deliver weekly pipeline updates and monthly performance reporting.
  • Consistently deliver against GP, growth, and business development objectives.

Skills Required

  • Comfortable engaging with business owners, directors, and senior decision-makers.
  • Highly proactive and activity-driven, with a strong focus on pipeline generation and opportunity creation.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and spend significant time in partner and customer meetings. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Organised and disciplined in managing sales activity, CRM updates, and forecasts.
  • Able to work independently while leveraging internal resources and subject matter experts to maximise opportunities.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify customer challenges and align solutions accordingly.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, with Dynamics 365 experience desirable.
  • Proven Channel sales background with a history of delivering and exceeding GP targets.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to gain trust and influence at all levels.
