About the role
This is a senior leadership role within the Electrical Retail Channel; it is accountable for the results and growth of the Buying Groups channel. This role requires a person who can demonstrate leadership and strategic thinking and work collaboratively within a challenging and diverse environment to ensure that the business objectives of Electrolux are met. Responsible for CIH, Sirius buying groups, along with key account focus in Marks, Bunny & Hughes, the role involves setting the strategic direction of these key customers. The role has overall responsibility for the P&L of the channel this must be managed successfully to ensure business objectives are met and exceeded.
The successful candidate is required to develop and execute the strategy for the ER Channel, in accordance with the overall business strategy. In this role you will work closely with the Sales Director Electrical Retail, Marketing & TMO Managers, and Heads of Product Line for the cluster to ensure an aligned market approach.
This role will manage and develop an experienced sales team of 10 employees. As a coach, mentor, and leader, you will inspire team performance to increase sales performance.

You will report to: Sales Director – ERT CA UK&IE
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Team & Channel management:
- Drive sales team to achieve agreed sales performance targets within this specific channel, whilst supporting wider growth within Pureplay, Chains, and IE channels, profitability, and gain market share within the ER Channel.
- Create a 3-year rolling strategic plan, to allow integration of the channel objectives into the wider objectives of the business aligned to the CA growth targets and market share ambitions.
Customer management:
- Maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships
- Leading management of key accounts including negotiating and securing partnership agreements
- Being available as an escalation point for senior management team within key trade partners
Maintaining and developing internal and external stakeholder relationships:
- Building strong industry networks to understand fully customer and competitor activity and to inform channel strategy as appropriate.
- Work closely with internal teams to drive sales, profitability, and brand awareness activity
Financial management:
- Responsibility for Profit and Loss of the channel
- Responsibility for budgeting process and forecasting process
- Fully understand the cost to serve model, to approve and agree customer cost allocations.
- To monitor the monthly cost to serve results and proactively seek to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
- Measure and track ROI on all marketing and promotional spend
Brand Management:
- Promote clear brand strategy to maximize business opportunities and sell in the Group's proposition across all group brands, in accordance with the overall UK and channel strategy.
- The scope of the role will include planning and implementation of a long-term AEG growth plan within the ER market, which needs to be aligned with other customers and channels, and will require close collaboration with marketing and product line.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional relevant retail account management experience
- Knowledge of customer base
- Business acumen and advanced business analysis and numerical interpretation
- Excellent negotiation with all stakeholders, including senior UK and European counterparts
- Highly numerate, strong analytical skills, and commercial acumen
- Able to engage, motivate, and manage sales team
- Able to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Remains calm under pressure
- Strong collaboration skills
