We're looking for an experienced Channel Strategy Manager to join a leading global business within the music and digital entertainment space on a 3-4 month temporary basis. This is a hands-on role managing a portfolio of priority YouTube channels, working closely with artists, labels and internal teams to drive channel growth, engagement and revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships across an assigned portfolio of YouTube channels and act as a key point of contact for clients and partners
- Develop and implement YouTube channel strategies to maximise growth, reach, retention and revenue
- Analyse channel and video performance, including audience trends, demographics and CPM
- Carry out channel audits and provide actionable recommendations for optimisation
- Support content programming, optimisation, reporting, marketing and troubleshooting
- Work closely with internal teams on campaigns and platform-specific initiatives
- Provide strategic advice and YouTube best practice recommendations to clients
- Maintain accurate channel and performance data across internal systems and YouTube CMS

About you
- 3+ years' experience in digital video, including hands-on YouTube channel management and optimisation
- Availability Immediately - no notice period
- Strong understanding of YouTube strategy, analytics and the wider digital ecosystem
- Experience managing client or partner relationships
- Highly analytical, organised and comfortable working with data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative, proactive and confident working independently
- Strong interest in and knowledge of music
- Experience with YouTube CMS and tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Experience with video/creative software such as Premiere, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or After Effects would be beneficial
