Channel Manager - Regional Accounts
Location: Remote
Salary: up to £70,000 per annum + Car + Bonus

About the role
As Channel Manager - Regional Accounts, you will own and develop the Regional Account Channel, leading a team of Business Development Managers, Internal Account Managers and Business Development Executives.
You'll play a critical role in developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities and ensuring the successful delivery of sales targets across a portfolio of regional customers, primarily within the independent fire protection sector.
This position requires a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, engaging with customers and delivering commercial success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Regional Accounts Channel across the UK.
- Manage and inspire a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), Internal Account Managers (iAMs) and Business Development Executives (BDEs).
- Drive customer retention, account development and new business acquisition.
- Build and strengthen long-term strategic relationships with key customers.
- Deliver budgeted sales and margin targets across existing and new business streams.
- Develop and execute regional channel business plans to support growth objectives.
- Conduct account reviews and gap analysis to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Lead demand forecasting, sales planning and business performance reviews.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Experience, Customer Services and wider business stakeholders to maximise customer value.
- Support the acquisition of new customers through effective pipeline management and sales activity.
- Promote the full range of Active Fire Division products and services, including Recycling, Supply Chain Solutions, Training Academy and Showroom offerings.
- Ensure commercial policies and standards are implemented consistently across all accounts.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and management reports for senior leadership.
- Recruit, coach and develop team members to maximise performance and engagement.

Essential Skills & Experience
We are looking for a commercially focused leader with a passion for developing people and building strong customer partnerships.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within a Channel Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Sales Manager or National Account leadership role.
- Proven experience leading both field-based and internal sales teams.
- A strong background in B2B sales and account management.
- Demonstrable success in new business development and customer retention.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts and business plans.
- The ability to analyse sales performance data and identify growth opportunities.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience delivering presentations and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong CRM experience, ideally HubSpot.

Desirable Experience
- Experience within the fire protection, fire safety, technical products or related sectors.
- Understanding of demand forecasting and S&OP processes.
- Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite) and business reporting tools.
- Knowledge of multi-site sales operations and regional account management environments.
