DNA Genotek – Channel Manager (Global Distribution)

Position Overview

Role: Channel Manager – Global Distribution Scope: Southern Europe, Northern Africa & Brazil Primary Focus: Expanding and managing OTI’s international distributor network outside North America by strategically onboarding partners and driving performance.

Key Responsibilities

Market Assessment & Strategy Development

  • Conduct global market evaluations to identify regions with alignment to business goals and regulatory feasibility.
  • Develop market entry strategies, prioritizing beneath commercial potential, competitive landscape, and product relevance.

Distributor Identification & Contracting

  • Source and assess potential distribution partners based on capabilities, market reach, and strategic fit.
  • Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Regulatory teams.

Distributor Onboarding & Enablement

  • Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs, including:
    • Product training
    • Sales enablement initiatives
    • Marketing support
  • Serve as the primary contact for distributors, ensuring continuous relationship management.

Performance Management & Accountability

  • Set clear sales targets and expectations for distributor partners.
  • Monitor performance through regular business reviews, pipeline tracking, and forecasting.
  • Address performance gaps via corrective actions or tailored support plans.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in international sales, channel management, or business development, ideally within:
    • Life Sciences
    • Medical devices
    • Molecular diagnostics
  • Proven ability to:
    • Identify and manage distributor relationships across diverse geographies.
    • Negotiate international contracts effectively.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration (Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Product teams).
  • Independent, adaptable, and comfortable working across time zones/cultures.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • (Relevant certifications a plus)

Compensation Package

Base Salary: £53,000–£80,000 per annum. Commission Plan: Annual target of £40,000 (performance-based).
