Job Title: Channel Marketer
Responsible to: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Location: Rochdale Office / Hybrid
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/wk
Job Purpose & Objectives
To support the company’s marketing objectives, dealer network and brand visibility by coordinating marketing activity, developing digital content and providing dealers with the tools, assets and guidance required to effectively promote the Takeuchi brand.
To ensure marketing campaigns, product launches and dealer marketing initiatives are delivered smoothly, consistently and in line with Takeuchi’s premium brand positioning and global marketing standards.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Product Manager, dealers and external agencies to coordinate campaigns, manage marketing projects, support brand governance and maximise the effectiveness of marketing investment across the dealer network.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day marketing contact for the Takeuchi dealer network
- Develop and maintain a library of reusable marketing assets
- Monitor industry, platforms, campaigns and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Track performance, submit reports and recommendations for continuous improvements
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to improve the customer experience across digital and physical marketing touchpoints.
- Create, coordinate and distribute digital marketing content for dealer use
- Coordinate and administer marketing programmes and schemes to support dealers and the Takeuchi brand
- Coordinate marketing activity and materials in line with product launch schedule
- Monitor, guide and approve dealer marketing material and adherence to branding standards
- Prepare creative briefs for designers and creative agencies from concept to final approval
- Monitor allocated marketing budget in relation to channel marketing activities
- Liaise with cross functioning teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time
- Proofread marketing material and content for accuracy and consistency
- Support newsletter sign up and data capture initiatives to strengthen engagement
- Support exhibitions and dealer events (attend as required)
- Maintain CRM records and marketing databases in line with GDPR and company policies
- Ensure all marketing activity reflects Takeuchi’s brand voice, values, premium positioning and global marketing standards.
- Provide flexibility to support the wider marketing team with campaigns, projects and other marketing-related activities as required.
- Assist with merchandise stock take and other marketing-related tasks as required

Candidate Requirements
Essential qualifications and experience
- Relevant marketing qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in channel, dealer, distributor or B2B marketing
- Experience coordinating campaigns, product launches and marketing projects
- Ability to create and manage accurate digital content and brand assets
- Strong attention to detail, proofreading and reporting skills
- Competence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and digital marketing platforms

Industry and product capability
- Interest in construction equipment, compact machinery or a similar technical product sector
- Ability to learn and clearly communicate product features, applications and customer benefits
- Understanding of dealer networks and the needs of dealers and end users
- Willingness to build practical product knowledge through training, dealer engagement and events
Skills and behaviours
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confident relationship-building with dealers, colleagues and external partners
- Collaborative, service-focused and commercially aware approach
- Flexible to travel within the UK and attend dealer events and exhibitions when required
Desirable
- Experience in construction equipment, plant, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles or another dealer-led technical sector
- Knowledge of paid digital campaigns, SEO, analytics or marketing automation
- Experience supporting exhibitions, dealer events or product demonstrations
- Basic design or content-production skills
- Full UK driving licence
