Hybrid - Stockport Office
Salary - £25,000

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, we are seeking a creative, motivated, and collaborative Channel Marketing Assistant to support our channel marketing team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a keen eye for detail, and be looking to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including creating digital campaigns, supporting with exciting projects, and working with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Content Marketing Assistance

  • Support the content marketing executive with content creation for digital campaigns and maintaining the content calendar.
  • Attend planning meetings and contribute creative ideas.
  • Produce monthly social media performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities to improve future campaigns.
  • Write engaging blogs and create a variety of content from these blogs.
  • Assist with video filming and editing.
  • Regularly review vendor content and create Distology-led content from this.
  • Maintain the Distology brand and tone of voice in all content and messaging.

Data Entry & CRM Management

  • Enter marketing leads into Salesforce, collected from events and marketing activities.

Event Planning & Project Management

  • Assist the Channel Marketing Executive with event logistics, including venue finding, obtaining quotes, creating project schedules, and producing promotional material.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive recruitment for events.
  • Help plan and execute events in the UK, Benelux, and DACH, including post-event debriefs and planning for future events.

Company Culture Activities

  • Support with coordinating internal events, celebrations, and employee activities to promote and drive team culture and engagement.

Marketing Stock Management

  • Management of both Distology and vendor marketing stock in the stockroom, ensuring supplies are organized and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Basic skills using Canva and Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Strong creative eye for creating content and storytelling ability.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
