Channel Sales Account Manager

A fast-growing cyber security SaaS business is expanding its UK partner function and looking for a newly created role of a commercially driven Channel Account Manager to help take their channel to the next level.

You’ll own a portfolio of reseller partners, create pipeline through the channel and turn strong engagement into recurring revenue.

Role Overview

Location: Central Leeds/Hybrid. 3 days per week (This will likely be 1 day per week in the office and 1-2 days per week with partners).
Package: £40,000- £50,000pa + Uncapped OTE (paid monthly) + benefits + ad-hoc performance incentives.
Industry: Cyber Security / SaaS

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and develop a portfolio of reseller and channel partners, building relationships across sales teams and leadership.
  • Proactively generate new opportunities through account mapping, partner prospecting, call-out days and targeted activity.
  • Build partner account plans that identify customer opportunities, whitespace and areas for revenue growth.
  • Manage partner-led opportunities from initial identification and registration through commercial conversations to close.
  • Deliver sales enablement sessions, webinars and presentations that help partners confidently position and sell the platform.
  • Work alongside Marketing to run partner campaigns, events and co-marketing activity that generates measurable pipeline.
  • Keep priority partners engaged through regular meetings, pipeline reviews, partner days and business reviews.
  • Develop high-potential partners while creating activation plans for dormant or underperforming accounts.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new reseller partners, helping them reach their first revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to expand the active reseller network and support joint sales activity.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to keep partner opportunities moving effectively.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasts while working towards channel sales targets.

Main Skills Needed

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Channel Account Manager or Partner Account Manager role.
  • Experience working within or with a reseller is highly preferred.
  • A track record of working towards and achieving commercial targets.
  • A proactive approach to pipeline generation, you’re comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage salespeople and senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial confidence around pipeline, pricing, revenue and progressing deals.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations, partner training, webinars and sales enablement.
  • Strong organisation with the ability to manage multiple partners and opportunities at once.
  • Technology or SaaS sales experience would be beneficial, particularly within reseller, MSP, MSSP or distribution environments.
  • Experience with partner campaigns, account mapping, forecasting or call-out days would be a plus.
  • Cyber security knowledge is useful but isn’t essential.
  • Comfortable travelling to partner offices, events and customer meetings, with a valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • A highly personable individual who wants to get involved in the social element of the team dynamic!
