The Indian Impact UK Chapter Lead

The Indian Impact is looking for an entrepreneurial UK Chapter Lead to build our local presence, community, partnerships, and live-event programme across the United Kingdom. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is deeply connected to the British Indian and wider South Asian ecosystem—and excited to turn relationships into meaningful experiences and long-term opportunities.

About The Indian Impact

The Indian Impact is a media, community, and commercial platform for globally minded Indians. We tell diaspora stories, spotlight leaders and founders, share practical cross-border insights, and create opportunities through content, events, partnerships, and community-led programmes.

Our ambition is to become a trusted platform where global Indians discover people, knowledge, networks, and opportunities that move their lives forward. The UK chapter will be a flagship market, supporting our Europe-first and globally relevant growth strategy.

The Role

As UK Chapter Lead, you will act as The Indian Impact’s on-the-ground representative and community builder in the UK. You will identify the right partners, bring people together through high-quality live experiences, and build a strong local pipeline of stories, speakers, sponsors, and commercial opportunities.

This role is not limited to event coordination. You will help shape the UK chapter as a credible ecosystem for Indian professionals, founders, creators, students, investors, community leaders, and India-facing organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead The Indian Impact’s UK chapter, beginning with London and expanding to high-potential cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester, and Edinburgh.
  • Develop a calendar of intimate salons, founder dinners, networking events, panels, cultural conversations, career sessions, and flagship community gatherings.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard strategic partners including corporates, startups, universities, professional associations, diaspora organisations, cultural institutions, media, and event venues.
  • Build relationships with Indian-origin founders, executives, investors, creators, academics, policymakers, and community leaders across the UK.
  • Curate relevant speakers, podcast guests, event hosts, and subject-matter experts for The Indian Impact’s media and live-event formats.
  • Work with the central TII team to turn UK events and partnerships into articles, newsletters, social content, podcast episodes, videos, and community opportunities.
  • Develop sponsorship and partnership proposals; help convert opportunities into revenue-generating activations.
  • Own local event execution from concept to post-event follow-up, including partner coordination, guest lists, venue logistics, speaker management, and community experience.
  • Establish a structured UK partner and member database, ensuring opportunities and relationships are logged and nurtured through the CRM.
  • Represent The Indian Impact at relevant conferences, community gatherings, industry events, and diaspora forums.
  • Share monthly insight reports on UK diaspora trends, partnership pipeline, event results, audience feedback, and commercial opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
