Job Opportunity
Applications are invited for innovative individuals who wish to join our multidisciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team. There is 1.0 WTE full time (36hrs) post.
Role Overview
As the successful applicant, you will have extensive experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health problems; have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing and will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of holistic person-centred care. As a Charge Nurse, you will exhibit strong leadership and management skills, will influence and develop practice and will take forward new initiatives within a busy multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Educated to degree level or able to evidence comparable experience.
- Work in partnership with people to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting them within their homes and communities.
- Responsible for leading and managing day to day work of the Nursing Team and support Team Leader to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred affordable services for people with severe and/or enduring mental health problems.
- Provide a supervisory role to members of staff within the nursing team, and to fulfil the CMHS Duty Worker role.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your role.

- Must be registered on Sub-Part 1:RN3 or RNMH of the UK NMC Register.
- Display strengths based and social inclusive approaches to working.
- Can lead and manage change and are committed to improving the lives of people with mental health problems.
