Charlie Heywood-Heath, Senior Economics Consultant – Lichfields

Since 2020, I have worked in both the public and private sector delivering economic analysis and policy evaluation, joining Lichfields in October 2023 as a Senior Economist. Lichfields provides planning, economic development, and policy research on matters relating to planning and development. My role centres around providing economic, social and demographic analysis to inform planning decisions, evaluate policies and programmes, and make the case for development, regeneration and funding-related interventions. I work across a wide range of sectors and policy areas including housing, regeneration, culture and tourism, office and industrial development, and growth sectors. The IED Network provides the opportunity for me to collaborate with fellow practitioners in the vast field of economic development, share knowledge, and learn from the experience of others regardless of whether they’ve been involved for two years or twenty years.
