Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant fluent in Romanian and English to join our financial team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex accounting processes, ensure compliance with international financial standards, and contribute to the accurate management of financial data. Your expertise will support our organization’s growth by maintaining precise financial records, streamlining accounting operations, and mentoring junior team members. Duties
- Manage and perform comprehensive financial accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record, analyze, and report financial data efficiently.
- Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with local and international standards, providing clear insights into the company’s financial health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior accountants by providing guidance on best practices in financial reporting and software usage.
- Assist in audits and internal controls to uphold the integrity of financial information and improve processes.

Skills
- Fluent in Romanian and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience working with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and practices.
- Expertise in financial management, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger accounting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills with a proactive approach to team development.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Commission Structure
This position offers a base salary of £1,500 per month, plus an additional 10% commission on the value of every contract they secure.
