Chartered Building Surveyor

Location: London
Salary: £39,000 base salary, OTE up to £100,000 and quarterly performance bonus
Type: Permanent, Full-time

This role combines project delivery with technical due diligence, dilapidations and portfolio instructions across commercial property.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver refurbishment, fit-out and improvement projects through procurement and completion
  • Undertake technical due diligence inspections and commercially focused reporting
  • Manage dilapidations instructions, specifications and contract administration
  • Coordinate consultants and contractors across programme, cost and technical requirements
  • Manage WIP, invoicing and fee recovery while supporting projects reaching approximately £10 million

Requirements

  • MRICS chartered status in building surveying or an equivalent recognised professional qualification
  • Commercial building surveying experience within consultancy or professional property
  • Experience delivering refurbishment, contract administration or project-led commissions
  • Technical due diligence, dilapidations or comparable professional surveying experience

Salary & Package

  • 40% bonus potential on qualifying fee income above cost
  • OTE up to £100,000
  • Base salary £39,000
  • Unlimited annual leave and two-week Christmas shutdown
  • Pension contribution up to 15%
