Chartered Financial Planner

22 Jan 2026

We are seeking a forward-thinking and client-centric Chartered Financial Planner to join our progressive and technology-led financial planning firm.

Location: United Kingdom (flexible/remote/hybrid, as applicable)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Reporting to: Keith Hare, Director

Hours: 30 hours / 4 day work week – exact days / times to be agreed

About The Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking and client-centric Chartered Financial Planner to join our progressive and technology-led financial planning firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to deliver truly holistic, independent advice — supported by cutting-edge tools and processes designed to eliminate inefficiencies, improve compliance, and enhance client experience.

As part of a firm that embraces digital innovation, you’ll work within a streamlined, cloud-based infrastructure with best-in-class planning, reporting, and CRM tools. The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to leverage technology to deliver scalable, personal, and value-driven advice — not just to wealthy individuals, but to families who want to build and preserve wealth for generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, independent financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, estate planning, and tax optimisation.
  • Use advanced cashflow modelling and financial planning software to help clients visualise their financial futures and make informed decisions.
  • Deliver advice through a digitally enabled, paperless client journey, including video consultations, electronic document sharing/signatures, and dynamic financial dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with paraplanners and operations staff via integrated workflow tools to ensure efficient, compliant delivery of advice.
  • Maintain deep and lasting relationships with clients, supported by regular reviews and proactive updates, delivered efficiently using automated touchpoints and reporting tools.
  • Ensure full adherence to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards, using technology to enhance audit trails and reduce manual intervention.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the firm’s digital advice proposition by testing, adopting, and feeding back on new tools and systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
