Chartered Financial Planner

Location: Marlow - Hybrid
Salary: £80k-£100k (Dependent on Experience) + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Chartered Financial Planner looking to join a firm that values high-quality financial planning, long-term client relationships and collaborative working? We're recruiting for a senior Chartered Financial Planner to join a well-established and growing wealth management business. This is an excellent opportunity to inherit and develop high-value client relationships while working alongside experienced paraplanners and administrators within a supportive pod structure.

The Opportunity

You'll provide holistic financial planning advice to affluent and high-net-worth clients, delivering tailored solutions across pensions, investments, retirement, tax and estate planning. Unlike many advisory roles, bringing an existing client bank is not essential. The focus is on nurturing existing relationships while also developing new business opportunities through referrals and professional connections.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to affluent and HNW clients.
  • Manage and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Deliver advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, tax planning and estate planning.
  • Work closely with dedicated paraplanning and administrative support.
  • Build new business through referrals, networking and professional introducers.
  • Maintain exceptional regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Deliver an outstanding client experience from initial meeting through to ongoing servicing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
