Role: Chartered Financial Planner
Type: Full time (Part-time may be considered).
Location: Hybrid. Remote working Mon & Fri and West Bridgford office 2-3 days a week.
Experience: 5 years’ financial planning advice for an independent firm desirable.
Seniority: Based on capability and experience.
Qualifications: Chartered Financial Planner (CII/PFS) or equivalent.
Salary: Competitive - dependent on capability and experience.
Closing date: 30th September 2026.

Responsibilities
- Holistic financial planning: Build and grow client relationships, starting with an initial client bank and developing this further through new enquiries made to the firm. Delivering holistic, goals-based financial plans across pensions, investments, protection, trusts and estate planning with full cash flow modelling. Maintain accurate records and data in the CRM and related systems.
- Present Financial Plans and suitability reports: Work with paraplanners to produce clear, technically robust and client-friendly reports and recommendations. Undertake research on financial products to identify suitable solutions across a wide range of client needs. Present recommendations to clients and confidently address their questions.
- Continued learning and development: Commit to ongoing professional development, keeping technical knowledge current across pensions, investments, protection, tax and estate planning, and maintaining the standards expected of a Chartered Financial Planner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Paraplanners, Administrators and other Financial Planners, agreeing strategies together and contributing to team process improvements by identifying challenges or gaps.
