Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Construction Cost Consultancy

Newcastle upon Tyne/Hybrid Working

Progress your career with one of the North East's most respected independent consultancies.

I'm working exclusively with a well-established, independent construction consultancy that's earned an outstanding reputation across the North East for delivering high-quality Quantity Surveying, Project Management, and Principal Designer services. With an impressive portfolio spanning healthcare, commercial, education, transport, industrial, leisure, and infrastructure, the business has built long-term relationships with its clients, resulting in a strong pipeline of secured work for the next 2–3 years. As demand continues to grow, they're now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit consultancy where you'll work directly alongside the Directors, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects while enjoying genuine autonomy and influence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
