Legat Owen is a well-established, multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Surveyors, founded in 1986, with offices in Chester and Nantwich. We provide a comprehensive range of property services across the UK, with a strong presence throughout the North West of England and Wales.
We are seeking an experienced Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor to join our Chester office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected professional team, working on a diverse range of projects and instructions across the commercial property sector. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality advice, building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the business.

The Role
As a Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor, you will work alongside our experienced property professionals, undertaking a varied workload that may include:
- Building surveys and inspections
- Dilapidations advice
- Planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Contract administration and project management
- Defect diagnosis and reporting
- Party wall matters
- Technical due diligence
- Development and refurbishment projects
- Client relationship management and business development
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be MRICS qualified
- Have relevant experience within a Building Surveying role
- Possess strong technical and reporting skills
- Be confident managing client relationships
- Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Be commercially aware and proactive in their approach
- Hold a full UK driving licence
