Description:
Copping Joyce is looking for a newly qualified surveyor, or someone with up to five years post qualification experience, to join our Healthcare, Leisure & Education team. The department has grown steadily and this is a good opportunity to work across a broad and varied caseload. We value care homes, dental practices, pharmacies, hotels, pubs, nurseries, and schools.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare Red Book valuations across healthcare, leisure, and education
  • Carry out site inspections and gather evidence for valuations
  • Liaise with clients, agents, and operators
  • Write clear, well-reasoned reports

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), with experience in valuations, general practice, or business valuations
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Confident with AI tools and strong IT skills, this matters a great deal to us
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, willing to learn new systems
  • Good attention to detail and clear communication, written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge of UK property markets
  • Strong organization and time management, able to work independently; we have no management layer, so this matters more here than most places
  • Client-focused, with a commitment to ongoing development
