What you’ll be doing…

As a Chef, you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. You will work in a professional catering environment, preparing fresh, high-quality food while delivering excellent customer service. You will be passionate about food, committed to maintaining high standards, and able to thrive in a busy kitchen while ensuring compliance with all food safety and company procedures.

  • Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standard.
  • Support the delivery of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hospitality catering as required.
  • Ensure the kitchen and service areas are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked.
  • Keep up to date with menus and contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement.
  • Offer a warm, friendly, and professional customer service experience.
  • Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and HACCP procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
  • Work effectively as part of the catering team to meet service demands and customer expectations.

Working Pattern: 24hrs Per Week | 8hrs a Day | Monday to Sunday on a Rota Basis

Salary: £18,144.72 (£14.54 per hour)

What can you bring?

  • Possess a genuine passion for food.
  • Be focused on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Be a team player with strong communication skills.
  • Previous catering experience within a contract catering, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environment.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, allergens, and HACCP principles.
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
