About the Role
GXO is looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Iceland Distribution Centres in Swindon (SN5). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating great food, delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Working across Swindon 1(SN5) and Swindon 2(SN3), you'll play a key role in our catering operation, preparing and serving quality food while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer satisfaction.
This is a part-time, permanent role, working 10 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 13:00, making it ideal for someone looking for weekend work.

- Prepare, cook and serve menu items to a high standard, ensuring excellent quality and presentation
- Produce a range of fresh food offerings, including breakfast items, sandwiches and hot meals
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards in line with HACCP procedures
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive dining experience for colleagues
- Complete food safety checks and documentation accurately
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the catering operation while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Previous experience in a Chef, Cook or similar catering role
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
- A passion for preparing quality food and delivering excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive, reliable and positive approach with a genuine pride in maintaining high standards
