Adecco are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Chef to provide planned cover across two supported living schemes in North Wales and Mid Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking for flexible work on a pre-scheduled basis, with further shifts potentially becoming available.
Locations
- Llys Eleanor, Shotton, Deeside (CH5 1EH)
- Neuadd Maldwyn, Welshpool (SY21 7FE)
As cover will be required at both sites, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
Working Hours
7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay Rate
£14.71 per hour
The Role
- Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing stock and food storage procedures
- Catering for dietary requirements and allergens
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations

Requirements
The successful candidate must hold:
- Valid DBS Certificate - we can obtain if not already possessed
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Allergen Awareness Training Certificate
Copies of these documents will be required before placement.
About The Assignment
This is a bank/relief cover position with a number of pre-booked shifts scheduled throughout September, October and early November across both locations. Additional shifts may become available, with plenty of notice provided.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook or Catering Professional
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy kitchen
- Reliable, organised and professional approach
- Experience within care, supported living, healthcare or similar environments would be advantageous
