JOB DESCRIPTION

Aramark UK are currently recruiting two Chefs in their Education sector to join our team at Hartpury University & College, GL19 3BE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cooking and preparing food ready for grab & go & lunch service, ensuring minimal wastage. Supporting functions/hospitality events.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
  • Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous catering experience required
  • Chef qualifications
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
