The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is a resort hotel in the countryside, just 10 minutes from the town of Fleet and Farnham and 45 minutes from London. With a varied selection of restaurants focusing on use of local produce, banqueting for 200 and with 24-hour room service, our guests have a lovely collection to choose from.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Chef de Cuisine to oversee the culinary operation within The Wild Carrot restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Working closely with The Executive and Executive Sous Chef, this is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and creative chef with a passion for quality, seasonal ingredients, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a talented team, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and ensuring guests enjoy unforgettable meals during their stay.

What you will do

  • Lead & inspire the kitchen team, ensuring a collaborative, high performance environment.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure all culinary offerings meet Four Seasons standards of excellence, incorporating seasons and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and budget controls, ensuring cost efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the hotel’s management team to create unique, guest-focused dining experiences.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement in the kitchen.
  • Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for the kitchen staff, helping them grow in their culinary careers.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar senior kitchen role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern cooking techniques and trends, with a strong appreciation for seasonal ingredients.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a dynamic team environment.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications.
  • Experience in managing kitchen budgets, costs, and inventory control.
