Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team in Kensington, London. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard. You will collaborate closely with our Executive Chef and other chefs to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in the kitchen, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards in your designated section.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that all hygiene and health standards are maintained.
  • Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes.
  • Maintain stock levels and manage inventory effectively.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Handle kitchen equipment and carry out maintenance as necessary.
  • Respond to customer feedback with a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Basic culinary education or relevant qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a desire to create innovative dishes.
