Job Opportunity: Chef De Partie at Morrisons Head Office

We have an exciting opening for a talented, experienced and creative Chef De Partie to join our Bradford Based Morrisons Head Office as part of our Catering team.
About the Role
This is a full time permanent position, the successful candidate will work 5 days over 7. Flexible working is required however this role is generally a Mon-Fri role with occasional Saturdays and a few event evenings. A general daily finishing time of 3pm gives an opportunity for a healthy work life balance.
Our Catering team is extremely dedicated to provide a variety of hot and cold healthy food options, seasonal meals, modern street food as well as the traditional classics. Our 600 seat restaurant is a very busy operation which requires a team of chefs that can take on a multitude of tasks whilst having the flexibility and willingness to support the outer team throughout.
You’ll represent Morrisons in all activities, with our ways of working at the heart of everything you do.
Whilst we offer a friendly and rewarding work environment, there is no doubt that you’ll be kept busy. Therefore, it’s important that you are comfortable with a fast pace, whilst never compromising on quality, attention to detail and a 5 star attitude towards hygiene & cleanliness.

Requirements
About You
- 2 years experience at Chef de Partie role or higher in a fast pace kitchen environment
- NVQ level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
- A proven ability to deliver under pressure in large scale catering
- A passion and willingness to personally cook and serve food at a high standard as well as an ability to share knowledge and to lead by example
- Knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene & HACCP
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with great communication skills
- Flexible to support additional/change shifts when required
