Chef de Partie – Mediterranean Restaurant
Location: Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire
Annual salary: £32,355.59 per annum
Estimated Start Date: 21 December 2026
We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the opening brigade of our brand-new 60-cover Mediterranean restaurant at Hiddenwell.
Our ambition is to achieve and maintain a minimum Two AA Rosette standard, serving Mediterranean-inspired food that celebrates seasonal produce, quality ingredients and bold flavours.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section, ensuring it is organised, prepared and ready for service while consistently delivering dishes to our quality and presentation standards.
You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape a new restaurant, taking part in menu tastings, pre-opening training and service rehearsals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running and organising your own section
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
- Completing mise en place and keeping your section service-ready
- Developing your knowledge of Mediterranean ingredients and techniques
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and allergen standards
- Managing stock rotation, portion control and food waste
- Supporting Commis Chefs and less experienced team members
- Working closely with the wider brigade during busy services
- Contributing ideas to seasonal menus and specials

About You
You’ll ideally be an experienced Chef de Partie, or a Demi Chef de Partie ready for your next step.
- A genuine passion for food and quality ingredients
- Excellent cooking and presentation skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- A positive, team-focused approach
- An understanding of food safety and allergens
- A desire to learn, develop and progress
Experience of Mediterranean cuisine or Rosette-level kitchens would be an advantage, but a great attitude and excellent culinary foundations are just as important.

You’ll have opportunities to develop across different sections, get involved in menu development and build your leadership skills, with progression towards Senior Chef de Partie and Sous Chef responsibilities.
Additional Information
- Full-time position – 40 hours per week
- Working 5/7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays
