🍳 We’re Hiring: Full-Time Cook | Falcon House Residential Home 📍 Bishop’s Stortford, CM22 7PP 💷 £14.25 – £14.50 per hour 🕐 36 hours per week | Full-time 🚗 Driver preferred/required due to our location
At Falcon House Residential Home, we’re looking for a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Cook to join our friendly kitchen team. This is more than simply preparing meals — it’s about creating nutritious, enjoyable and homely dining experiences for our residents. ❤️
👩🍳 What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and cooking fresh, balanced, home-style meals for up to 26 residents
- Catering for individual dietary requirements, allergies and preferences
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Working closely with our care and kitchen teams
- Helping create a positive and enjoyable mealtime experience for our residents

🌟 What we’re looking for Previous experience in a care home, catering, hospitality or professional kitchen is welcome but not essential. We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Caring and compassionate
✔️ Reliable and dependable
✔️ Organised with good time-management skills
✔️ Comfortable working as part of a team
✔️ Passionate about preparing good-quality food
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
