Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chef De Partie role based in Milton Keynes. The Chef De Partie will manage a designated kitchen section, ensuring preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes meet French Affaire’s quality standards. Responsibilities include following recipes, supporting menu execution, maintaining stock levels, and assisting in the creation of specials. The role involves working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to coordinate service, uphold food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure smooth operation during busy periods. The Chef De Partie will also help train junior team members, contribute ideas to improve efficiency, and support a positive, collaborative working environment.

- Professional experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating, ideally with familiarity in French or European cuisine.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, manage a specific kitchen section, and coordinate with other team members during service.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative attitude toward colleagues and management.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
- Culinary training, relevant certifications, or a vocational qualification in professional cookery are beneficial.
- Passion for high-quality food, continuous learning, and delivering a consistent guest experience.
