Permanent, Full Time - 39 hours p/w – shift rota (Mon – Sun: 06:00 – 14:30 or 10:30 – 19:00)

As a Chef De Partie in our Serco Leisure Operating Ltd (Sport England) team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality food production within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. Your work will help ensure customers receive safe, consistent, and well-prepared meals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and efficiency.

What you’ll do as a Chef De Partie

  • Produce large batches of food in line with approved recipes, specifications, and production plans.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control.
  • Follow food safety, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), allergen management, and temperature control procedures at all times.
  • Organise your section effectively, ensuring ingredients, equipment, and materials are prepared to meet production schedules.
  • Minimise waste, maximise yield, and support cost-effective kitchen operations.
  • Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience working as a Chef or in a similar role within a high-volume food production or catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP procedures, allergen management, and temperature control requirements.
  • Ability to follow recipes, specifications, and production instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Well organised, able to prioritise workloads, and comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and takes ownership of delivering high standards.
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding environment – ability to stand for long periods and working in high-temperature condition.
