Chef de Partie

Starting Salary: £30,212 WTE + £3,000 pa Shift Allowance (Salary rising to £31,363 after 12 months satisfactory performance review) pro rata (based on 37.5 hours per week)

Additional Benefits: Pension & Shift Allowance

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (4 out of 7 days on a rota)

We are currently seeking a keen and motivated Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team at St Columba's Hospice Care.

Our Chefs play an important role in delivering a high standard hospitality service to individual patients, visitors and staff within the Hospice, and you will be involved in preparing meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the supervision of staff and volunteers.

Previous experience as a Chef, the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, together with good communication skills are essential for the role. Experience of working within a healthcare setting would be an advantage. You must also be prepared to work shift patterns which include weekends and bank holidays.
