The Role

Are you an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated culinary professional? We are currently looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our brigade. In this role, you will be the life and soul of your section, crafting beautiful dishes and delivering prompt, professional food service. If you have a focused, positive attitude and a genuine drive to provide exceptional culinary care, you'll fit right in with our vibrant team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Setting the Stage: Preparing your section with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring everything is perfectly in place to set the tone for a flawless service.
  • Crafting Experiences: Utilizing your advanced culinary skills to cook, plate, and serve premium-standard dishes that celebrate seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Maintaining Excellence: Ensuring all kitchen and preparation areas are kept immaculately clean and hygienic, following strict food safety schedules, and upholding our high culinary standards.
  • Team Synergy: Supporting the wider brigade with a hands-on approach, mentoring commis chefs, and keeping operations running smoothly during fast-paced, busy periods.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie with a strong foundation in professional kitchen operations and section management.
  • Good overall product knowledge (provenance of ingredients, butchery, fishmongery) and strong technical knife skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure, busy service situations with ease.
  • Contract & Flexibility: This is a permanent, full-time contract working 48 hours per week. Shifts will include mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
