About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and reliable Chef de Partie to join a busy, high-standard kitchen team. This role is for one of our key clients, a fast-growing, leading technology company known for its dynamic culture and high standards of employee experience. Working a desirable Monday to Friday schedule, you will take ownership of your section, cook high-quality dishes from scratch, and maintain strict food safety standards. You will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional, consistent meals and ensure a seamless daily service for the client's teams.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Production

  • Prepare, cook, and plate fresh dishes according to exact recipes, spec sheets, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure correct cooking temperatures, speed, and consistency during peak service.
  • Guarantee the quality of plating and presentation according to both internal and client standards.

Stock & Waste Control

  • Receive, check, and store deliveries correctly (FIFO system).
  • Anticipate needs and report them to the Manager; assist with monthly stock takes.
  • Monitor stock levels and actively work to minimize food waste.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Adhere strictly to internal HACCP, food safety, and allergen control procedures.
  • Keep your section, equipment, and storage areas spotless and organized.
  • Apply cleaning and disinfection procedures at all times.

Team Collaboration

  • Support fellow kitchen team members and guide junior commis staff.
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house and management to guarantee high satisfaction across the client site.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Practical experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi CDP, or Senior Commis in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong grasp of modern culinary techniques, prep methods, and flavor profiling.
  • Solid working knowledge of UK food safety regulations and allergen management.
  • Excellent time management, high attention to detail, and a calm approach under pressure.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and a passion for good food.
  • Requirements: Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (or willingness to complete it upon hiring) and Allergen Awareness training.
