Set in a picturesque village on the edge of the Peak District, this countryside hotel and restaurant offers a truly food-led experience, combining contemporary hospitality with a strong connection to local producers and the surrounding landscape.
The restaurant delivers modern, seasonal dishes shaped by the best ingredients available from the region, including produce grown on-site and sourced from neighbouring counties. The kitchen also supports a variety of dining experiences, from relaxed lounge service to weddings, private events, afternoon teas and special occasions.
We are now looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the brigade and play an important role in delivering exceptional food across all areas of the business.

The Role
As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standards. Working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, you'll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef while contributing to the success of the restaurant, lounge and busy events operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of your designated section during preparation and service
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to consistently high standards
- Support service across the restaurant, lounge, weddings and private events
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Assist with stock rotation, food storage and minimising waste
- Work closely with the senior chefs to deliver smooth, efficient service
- Support and encourage junior members of the kitchen brigade

About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Experience within quality-led kitchens (Rosette experience is advantageous but not essential)
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Calm under pressure and able to work effectively during busy services
- Positive team player with a professional attitude and strong work ethic

Due to the hotel's rural location, your own transport is beneficial.
