Description

Ever wondered how airline meals make it on board? Now’s your chance to be part of it! Join our fast-paced, seasonal team and help prepare and supply meals and equipment for flights departing daily.

Step into the kitchen as a Chef de Partie! Assist in creating delicious meals for passengers across all classes and grow your culinary career with us.

Pay Rate: £14.73 per hour

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of dishes
  • Participate in food presentations for our airline customers
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workstation
  • Working in a manner that promotes good health and safety practices
  • Working as part of a team in a customer centric environment
  • You will also be required to undertake some manual handling/bending and reaching as part of your normal duties

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

What We’re Looking For

  • Either City & Guilds 706/1 or 2 or NVQ Level 1 or 2
  • Previous catering experience as a Chef
  • Fully knife trained
  • To be very familiar with authentic and conventional, as well as contemporary ingredients, with a detailed knowledge of, and experience in, preparing different cuisines
  • Ability to work on a shift basis including evenings and weekends, with some manual handling/bending and reaching
