What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of your section, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standard
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal ingredients with consistency, care and attention to detail
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver smooth, organised service
  • Supporting and developing Commis Chefs and junior team members, sharing your knowledge and leading by example
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation
  • Assisting with stock control, food rotation and reducing waste to help keep the kitchen running efficiently

What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a busy kitchen, take pride in producing consistently high-quality food and understand the importance of teamwork.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie, or is a confident Demi Chef de Partie ready to progress
  • A genuine passion for food and a desire to keep learning
  • A calm, organised approach and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen
  • Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practice
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support those around you

The Seafood Restaurant was the first restaurant opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975. The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep. In the centre of the restaurant is a Seafood Bar where guests can enjoy watching chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi.
