Location: Keogh Barracks, Combined Mess, Mytchett, Aldershot, GU12 5RQ

Pay: £15.94 per hour (£31,189.40.)

Hours: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 and every other weekend

Shift times: Earlies: 06:00 to 14:00 and Lates: 12:00 to 20:00


Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team working at Keogh Barracks. No two days are ever the same, and if you’re looking for a culinary role that brings excitement and work–life balance, you’ll feel right at home here.

You will be responsible for collaborating with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality, and brand standards.


To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you’ll do:

  • Reporting to the Sous Chef, working with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality, and brand standards.
  • Preparing food for military dining facilities and hospitality events.
  • Assisting the Sous Chef with post-analysis and ensuring all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.
  • Learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertaking relevant training as required.

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant culinary qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
  • Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
  • Excellent team player and communicator.
  • DBS and security checks required.
