What You Will Do In This Splendid Role
Our team are the heart and soul of all we do. Here’s what you’ll be up to:
- Taking ownership of your section – keeping it sharp, organised, and consistently excellent.
- Preparing and cooking every dish to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and timing.
- Maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety standards at all times – no compromises.
- Managing mise en place with care, ensuring your section is ready before service kicks off.
- Tasting, adjusting, and presenting each dish with pride and precision.

What Makes You Splendid
You’ll bring a passion for great food, strong kitchen skills and the ability to consistently deliver high standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Professional kitchen experience – At least 1 year’s experience working as a Chef de Partie, ideally in a high-quality hospitality environment.
- Relevant culinary training – NVQ Level 2 or equivalent culinary qualification.
- Strong culinary foundations – A good understanding of classic dishes and cooking techniques.
- Food safety awareness – A good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety requirements and the importance of maintaining high standards at all times.
- Good communication skills – A good understanding of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and follow instructions clearly.
- A team-focused approach – Someone who takes pride in their work, supports their colleagues and thrives as part of a busy kitchen team.
