The Chef de Partie (CDP) is a crucial member of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting junior chefs in their development. The CDP will work alongside the senior kitchen team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and creativity in all aspects of food preparation.

Requirements

  • Culinary Passion & Expertise: A strong foundation in cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen organisation.
  • Experience in High-Quality Kitchens: Previous experience as a CDP or strong experience as a Commis Chef in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant.
  • Team Player & Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work collaboratively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Time Management & Organisation: Efficiently manage your section to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Work effectively within your designated section, ensuring smooth service and excellent time management.
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in all food preparation areas.
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining stock levels, ordering, and minimising waste.
  • Ensure all dishes are consistently executed in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen and FOH team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
