We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Chef de Partie at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?
The role of a Chef de Partie at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa involves taking ownership of a designated section within the kitchen and supporting the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef team, the Chef de Partie will prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, care, and seasonal flair in every service.
As Chef de Partie, your role will focus on managing your section efficiently during service, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety, and ensuring mise en place is completed to the highest level. Responsibilities will include supporting junior team members, monitoring stock within your section, assisting with menu preparation across the hotel, including private dining and special events, and helping to ensure every dish enhances the guest experience.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

You will have previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a quality hotel or restaurant environment, with a good understanding of running a section and maintaining high culinary standards. You will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food, learning, and development.
