Chef de Partie (CDP)

Countryside Pub & Restaurant | Ribble Valley

£17.00 per hour | Minimum 40 hours per week

We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at our busy countryside pub and restaurant in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

As a Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section of the kitchen while working closely with the Head Chef and wider team. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Managing your designated section efficiently during service.
  • Assisting with menu development and daily specials.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Ensuring food is stored, labelled, and rotated correctly.
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock control.
  • Minimising food waste and maintaining cost-effective kitchen practices.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff where required.
  • Working as part of a professional and friendly team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal food and quality cooking.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy service.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
