- Salary: £15.00 per hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with paid overtime (as required – not guaranteed)
- Shift patters: 5-day workweek (7-day cover, with early starts/late finishes)
- Shift timings:
- Breakfast chefs: 5:30 AM start to 8-hour shift (including unpaid ½-hour break)
- Evening chefs: Finish at approx. 10:30 PM

Responsibilities
Working closely with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team, you will:
- Take the lead on food production to ensure quality, consistency, and minimal wastage
- Prepare fresh, delicious dishes for workplace dining facilities and events
- Support with stock checks, analysis, and shift opening/closing processes
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
- Operate within established procedures to maintain smooth and safe kitchen operations
- Complete relevant training to continuously develop your skills
Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll ideally be:
- Qualified: Hold a relevant culinary qualification, at least an NVQ Level 2, with ideally 5+ years of experience
- Experienced: Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment (e.g., modern hotel/restaurant)
- Certified: Hold Food Safety Certification, or be willing to complete via our eLearning programme
- Personality: Possess:

- Strong communication skills
- A passion for exceptional customer service
- A strong team mindset
