Job Description
The Crooklands is an independently owned Hotel, Restaurant and Inn conveniently located close to J36 of the M6 motorway.
We are looking for a hard working and reliable Chef De Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- To prepare, cook and serve food at the required service time and standard
- To undertake any catering task as directed by the Head Chef
- To complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules etc.
- To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organised manner ensuring all food safety and health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
- To communicate to team and client staff in a polite, efficient manner
- Flexibility to work split shifts including weekends
Skills And Qualifications
- You will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
- Motivated and possessing a sense of pride in your work
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach
- Well organised and punctual
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
