Chef de Partie

What you'll be doing

As a Chef de Partie, you will be an important part of the kitchen team, helping to deliver high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards across food safety, presentation, and service. This is a great opportunity to join a recently mobilised Lexington contract and contribute to the continued development of the catering offer.

Working closely with the Sous Chef and Catering Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and support the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting food to the highest standards
  • Supporting, mentoring, and training members of the kitchen team in line with company procedures
  • Ensuring all food preparation complies with COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations, and reporting any incidents appropriately
  • Assisting with the ordering, control, and management of food stocks to meet budget requirements
  • Maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge
  • Delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Providing a warm, professional, and customer-focused service at all times

What can you bring?

We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic chef who takes pride in producing great food and enjoys working as part of a team.

You'll ideally have:

  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality
  • Previous experience working within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A good understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
