Play a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences for our guests at Solaya.

Solaya is a French-Mediterranean rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar on the 25th floor of art’otel London Hoxton, led by Michelin-starred chef Kenny Atkinson.

Key Responsibilities As Our Chef De Partie

  • Take ownership of your kitchen section, preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Lead by example, supporting and guiding Commis Chefs and Demi Chef de Parties while ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels, oversee stock rotation and help minimise food waste while maintaining food cost controls.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
  • Contribute to menu development, process improvements and operational efficiencies within your section.

  • Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Be passionate about producing high-quality food and maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
  • Have a strong understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, stock control and kitchen best practices.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating leadership, organisation and attention to detail.
