The Role:
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Nathalie Notting Hill. In this key role, you'll take ownership of your section, ensuring that dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, contributing to the daily running of the kitchen and helping to maintain a professional, clean, and sustainable working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Section Management: Take responsibility for your designated section, ensuring all food preparation and service is carried out to a consistently high standard.
- Food Quality & Consistency: Prepare and cook dishes according to our recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring quality and flavour in every dish.
- Team Collaboration: Support the wider kitchen team and assist other sections when needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Mise en Place: Organise and complete prep work ahead of service, keeping your station clean, stocked, and efficient throughout the day.
- Kitchen Hygiene: Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards in line with health and safety regulations.
- Stock & Waste Management: Monitor stock levels, help reduce waste, and follow sustainable food preparation practices in line with our environmental commitments.
- Training & Development: Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and actively contribute to a positive kitchen culture.

About You
- Experience: Proven experience in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Work Ethic: Organised, efficient, and calm under pressure.
- Team Player: Great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Passion for Food: Enthusiastic about fresh, seasonal ingredients and committed to delivering exceptional dishes.
- Sustainability Mindset: Awareness of sustainable kitchen practices and food waste reduction.
