Chef de Partie
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our Events Kitchen team at Kings Place, Green & Fortune, located at 90 York Way, London N1 9AG. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional food for a wide range of conferences, corporate events, private dining, and hospitality functions. Working in a fast-paced and varied environment, you will help produce high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of presentation, consistency, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, cooking, service, and creativity.
- Prepare and deliver hot and cold dishes, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely service.
- Manage your designated section, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes consistently meet our high standards.
- Assist in creating seasonal menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure food is produced efficiently while maintaining creativity and attention to detail.
- Protect the health and safety of guests and team members by following food safety, health, and hygiene standards, ensuring all due diligence documentation is completed accurately.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture by maintaining composure and enthusiasm, even during busy service periods.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier communication to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
- Support the training and development of junior chefs and kitchen porters, helping to build a high-performing and supportive team.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working order.

Requirements
- Strong background in high-volume restaurant or hospitality kitchens, with experience working in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering consistently high-quality food.
- Ability to create a variety of dishes that balance flavor, creativity, and efficiency.
- Confidence working under pressure while remaining organized and calm.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to follow best practices.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues.
