Chef de Partie Daytime Café Bistro

Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire
Pay: £18 per hour
Hours: Flexible between 9:00am – 4:00pm/ 8am-3pm/ 8pm-5pm
Job Type: Full & Part time hours available

Are you a passionate Chef de Partie looking for a better work-life balance? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic CDP to join our friendly team at our busy North Yorkshire café.

Enjoy daytime-only shifts, with your evenings free. The role includes a mixture of midweek and weekend shifts, offering variety within a supportive and welcoming kitchen.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes while maintaining excellent standards throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present fresh, high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Manage your designated section and ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in line with Food Safety and HACCP regulations.
  • Ensure food is prepared efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent customer experiences.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or higher
  • A passion for fresh, quality food and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
  • Food Hygiene certification
