Key Responsibilities
Food & Service Delivery
- Plan nutrition-compliant, high-quality menus
- Oversee food preparation and consistency with standards
- Ensure meals meet regulatory and client expectations
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen/front-of-house staff
- Develop rostering systems for timely staffing and smooth operations
Financial & Operational Excellence
- Budget control (food/labour costs)
- Demand forecasting to optimise profit
- Align with contract KPIs while maintaining service quality
Compliance & Safety
- Lead adherence to HACCP, health & safety protocols, and allergen controls

Client Relations
- Main contact for client feedback
- Implement service improvements
- Support contract retention or growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in contract catering (e.g., workplace education/healthcare settings).
- Leadership ability: managing teams, rotas, and coaching.
- Commercial expertise: budgeting, cost control, and KPI-driven delivery.
